Back to the rolling hills of Maleny

Almost a year on, we have traveled back to Maleny in search of a good view and small, boutique stores. However, it is not only the small settlement, situated in the Sunshine Coat Hinterland, that offers endless views of surrounding mountains, but also the trip up the D'Aguilar Highway, lined with rolling hills of pastures and grazing ground for cattle.

During thing journey up to the town, travellers can bare witness to quaint country cottages and wooden lean-to sheds, well beyond their use-by date. The higher the altitude, the denser the surrounding forests grow.
Atop the mountain, one can look out upon surrounding mountains and farming land. As the sun sets, the cloud's shadows lengthen and gracefully cover the land below. The air grows significantly cooler as the countryside turns to darkness.
