Studying, I have concluded, inevitably goes hand in hand with the unexplainable craving for bad food. Bad not in a sense of poor taste, but much rather bad for one's health. Also ringing true is the fact that, the more dilligently you apply yourself to study, the hungrier you are by the end of it. It's all science. My chosen food for thought: chocolate cup-cake.
Winter's curse is no longer just around the bend; it is here- and has been now for seven days. One week of Winter and I already feel myself urging time to slow down as it flies by too fast to let me savour the crisp blue mornings which warm up before getting colder again.Bright and early this morning I felt an unusual pang of creativity. Due to such an abnormality, I decided to pounce upon it and came up with a not-so-Wintery prawn cocktail with an avocado salsa. Not Wintery as it was, it was just enough to keep my my creative yearning at bay.
By the time the afternoon had arrived, it was concluded that tea, coffee and cake were in order. So we indulged, watching the sun begin to set as a mere 3.30 approached, which gave the world a nice, sepia tone- one only achievable during the early weeks of Winter.
